NORTEK® brand plastic fillers are high-quality products reinforced with minerals such as Calcium Carbonate – Talc – Barite – Magnesium Hydroxide – Aluminum Hydroxide. NORTEK® can be used at different concentrations on its recipes in accordance with Polyethylene (PE), Polypropylene (PP), Polystyrene (PS) and Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene (ABS) materials in all applications.
NORTEK® can be developed and modified for the special needs of our customers. NORTEK®, mineral-filled masterbatches are used to reduce the formula costs as well as to improve the product properties.
In addition to help increase the performance and capacity in production, NORTEK® carries its customers one step further in the competition. NORTEK® branded products do not contain heavy metals. NORTEK® also enables better thermal conductivity when mixed with polyolefin which generates significant cost advantage.
In production lines, NORTEK® allows the polymer to be processed at lower temperatures can be operated at lower temperatures which allows the consumption of electricity to be kept to a minimum. High thermal conductivity enables lower energy consumption and warming of the structure in less time. In the light of these advantages, the amount of product from the extruder increases and process times are shortened.
NORTEK® branded fillers can improve the bending modulus, hardness and impact and puncture values of the final structure thanks to the mineral and special polymers in its content, depending on the application areas and certain utilization rates. In addition to these mechanical properties, NORTEK® filling materials help to develop products that are easier to maintain at lower temperatures and provide stable production by controlling the drawing values.
